Description
This is a print of an original oil painting by Ric W. Horner
This is a study for a large commission due to be completed in spring 2026. It features an impression of a local ship wreck called ‘The Old Brigg’, that is believed to have sunk in the mid-19th century off the coast of Seasalter. Original images of the vessel seem not to exist, so I have based it on the type of boats operating around Whitstable in that area. It is believed it was used for smuggling and is still just about visible above the mudflats at Seasalter. A reproduction of this painting is now available as a limited edition, hand-signed and numbered Giclée print. It will only come mounted, as we cannot post glassed frames.
